ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP) — B2B / DASA, Lda

Applicable to www.b2b.co.mz

1. Purpose of the Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the rules, standards, and acceptable practices for using the B2B platform. Its objective is to ensure that all users interact with the platform responsibly, ethically, and legally.

By accessing or using www.b2b.co.mz, the user agrees to comply with this Policy, along with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Tender Publication Policy.

2. Permitted Use

Users are allowed to:

  • Access the platform for legitimate business and informational purposes;
  • Browse, view, and search tenders and company information;
  • Create an authenticated business account;
  • Submit legitimate tenders or business information;
  • Update company profiles;
  • Contact B2B for support or inquiries;
  • Use the directory and available features for lawful purposes.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1. Fraud, Misrepresentation, or Manipulation

  • Submitting false or misleading tenders;
  • Altering or fabricating information to deceive or harm third parties;
  • Creating fake, duplicate, or fictitious accounts;
  • Providing fraudulent or malicious submissions.

3.2. Violation of Rights

  • Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Publishing third-party information without authorization;
  • Disclosing confidential or proprietary content without permission.

3.3. Misuse of Data or Platform Information

  • Extracting data using scrapers, bots, or automated tools without authorization;
  • Harvesting emails or contact lists for SPAM or unsolicited communication;
  • Reselling, redistributing, or misusing platform data.

3.4. Illegal or Harmful Activities

  • Using the platform for any activity that violates Mozambican or international laws;
  • Posting fraudulent tenders or fake procurement opportunities;
  • Hosting or transmitting illegal, offensive, abusive, or discriminatory content.

3.5. Security Threats

  • Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious files;
  • Attempting to disrupt or manipulate platform functions;
  • Unauthorized access attempts ("hacking") to accounts or servers;
  • Conducting DDoS attacks, brute-force attempts, or similar actions.

3.6. Abusive Behaviour

  • Harassing, threatening, or harming other users;
  • Posting defamatory or inappropriate content;
  • Misusing comments or submissions to harm individuals or companies.

4. Responsibility for Content

Users acknowledge that they are solely responsible for:

  • Any information, files, or documents submitted to the platform;
  • Ensuring that submissions are accurate, lawful, and authorized;
  • Classifying confidential or sensitive content before uploading;
  • Complying with all applicable legal and ethical standards.

B2B is not responsible for content submitted by users that violates this AUP.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

B2B reserves the right to:

  • Monitor platform activity for misuse;
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Policy;
  • Remove illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content;
  • Block IP addresses or automated tools that breach usage rules;
  • Report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

B2B may take action without prior notice when required to protect the platform or its users.

6. Additional Rules for Tender Submissions

Users submitting tenders shall NOT:

  • Publish fake or non-existent tenders;
  • Alter official documents or information;
  • Manipulate dates, eligibility criteria, or requirements;
  • Post tenders for the purpose of deceiving suppliers or creating unfair competition.

Suspect tenders may be:

  • Removed,
  • Suspended,
  • Investigated,
  • Or reported to legal authorities.

7. Use of Automated Tools

Users are prohibited from using:

  • Bots, crawlers, scrapers;
  • Unauthorized automation tools;
  • Systems designed to replicate, copy, or extract platform data.

Exceptions may only be granted through formal written authorization by B2B.

8. Consequences of Non-Compliance

If the AUP is violated, B2B may:

  • Issue a formal warning;
  • Temporarily suspend the user's account;
  • Permanently terminate access;
  • Remove offending content;
  • Block IP addresses;
  • Report misconduct to authorities;
  • Pursue legal action if necessary.

No compensation is owed to users whose accounts are suspended due to violations.

9. Modifications to this Policy

B2B may revise this AUP at any time.

Changes take effect upon publication on the platform.

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
